Abstract: A new type of intermingled basalt hybrid fiber reinforced polymer (BHFRP) sheets were weaved with basalt/carbon(B/C) fiber, or basalt/aramid(B/A) fiber. The ultimate tensile strength, elastic modulus and ductility were studied by experiment, and the mixture ratio on the performance was analyzed based on experimental results. The results showed that: compared B/A HFRP to B/C HFRP, B1A1 had better ductility, but low tensile strength; B2C1 had higher tensile strength and better ductility. Finally, scanning electron microscope was using to study the microscopic structure of fracture surface.

Abstract: High performance Al-Cr2O3-Al2O3 sliding gate are made from tabular corundum, white fused corundum, aluminum powder, and chromium oxide powder. Phenolic resin is used as binder. The properties of the Al-Cr2O3-Al2O3 sliding gates with the different content of chromium oxide(mass percent 3%,6%,9%,12%,15%) which are made from different processes (dried at 200°C in air, fired at 1300°Cin N2 and fired at 1450°C in CO), are researched respectively. The results show that in different processes, the samples which contain 6% chromium oxide powder have higher cold crushing strength and hot modulus of rupture. After fired in N2, the new phases Al8Cr5 (1327°C), AlN are formed, and after fired in CO, Al8Cr5, Al2OC and Cr3C2 are formed. These materials are contributed to improve the mechanical properties of samples. The samples fired in N2 have the best performance.

Abstract: This paper presents a method of oil spills identification in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) image based on feature vector, it makes use of the advantages of SAR which can work on day and night and all weather conditions with high resolution monitoring for oil spills. Use the algorithm of Mahalanobis distance to identify the target object and gain the feature vector through evaluating SAR image of the dark area boundary. It is proved by experiment that the number of selected feature value is reasonable and more effective for estimating whether has oil spills than the traditional one. The accuracy rate can reach 96% or even more for using the algorithm of Mahalanobis distance and compare to the other methods of oil spills identification it is easy for programming implementation with less conditions .

Abstract: Based on the periodic features of structure and flow field, two periodic boundaries are used to study the combined filter. The three stages filters are taken as integration for numerical simulation to acquire the resistance characteristics, which provide a reasonable foundation for performance analysis and optimized design of the filter. The resistance characteristics under different operating conditions acquired by experiment are compared with numerical simulation results of two periodic boundaries. The comparison validates the high precision of the ensemble simulation method.

Abstract: The transferring(Tf) receptor from Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae (App) is comprised of a surface exposed lipoprotein, Tf-binding protein B (TbpB), and an integral outer-membrane protein, Tf-binding protein A (TbpA), both of which are essential for survival in the host, and TbpB is required for the iron acquisition process in vivo. In this study. We analyzed the salient features of the TbpB gene and encoded protein of App L20 strain by bioinformatics tools and highlighted its important biological characterization, which. providing insights into the mechanism of Tf binding and the role of TbpB,

Abstract: Aniline aerofloat [dianilino dithiophosphoric acid (C6H5NH)2PSSH], is an organic flotation reagent used frequently in lead sulfide mineral (PbS) flotation. It’s a refractory organics in floatation wastewater for it’s hard to be degraded and remains for long. Chemical and physical methods are widely used for treating aniline aerofloat, but that will bring high cost and secondary pollution. In this paper, an aniline aerofloat–degrading bacterium which used aniline aerofloat as sole carbon and energy source was isolated from SBR (sequencing batch reactor) system and the biodegradation pathway of aniline aerofloat was inferred based on the biodegradation mechanism of aniline with physicochemical phenomena of medium.

Abstract: Flame retardant and mechanical properties of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) composites containing ammonium polyphosphate (APP) and its microcapsules, MFAPP with a shell of melamine–formaldehyde resin and EPAPP with a shell of epoxy resin, were evaluated in EVA. The results indicate that APP after the microencapsulation leads to an increase in LOI in EVA compared with APP. When dipentaerythritol is added into the EVA composites containing APP microcapsules, a further improvement in flame retardancy of the composite is observed. Moreover, thermal decomposition behavior and mechanical properties of the EVA composites are investigated.

Abstract: Efficient energy yield is a major concern in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This paper describes a distributed control system to optimize the power output of the PV systems. The PV systems contain many PV modules. And every PV module has a monitoring and control network node. The communication data are successfully transmitted using a low-cost ZigBee wireless network. The field conditions are monitored by voltage, current, irradiance, and temperature sensors. The power operating point tracking is implemented at the PV module level. The reference voltage is calculated based on a neural network model, which is used to identify maximum power point. And the output voltage is regulated by a digital controller in the integrated converter according to the reference voltage. Experiments show that the power output can be greatly increased with this distributed control system under many shadow conditions.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explore new methods on essential medicines selection when experimental materials disable. This paper deals with a novel system design and optimization by the tools of computer programming for the first time, successfully solving a serial problems of medicines selection in facing 18 cases after 20 runs of simulation for each case. The significant outcome of computer printout provides a sound basis for optimally choosing essential medicines in the promising reality of social medicine revolution. This original research has led to the discovery of a fast and costless selection principle for not only medicines selection.

Abstract: Wing stiffness, mainly including bending stiffness and torsion stiffness, is very important in aircraft structure design. In order to research the relation between wing stiffness and optimization results, this paper makes optimization analysis to a composite T-tail configuration and a composite flying wing configuration based on different wing stiffness constraints, and some valuable conclusions are achieved.
