Coordinated Control of Speed during Driving Mode Switches for Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicles

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper studies the coordinated control of dynamic process of mode-switches for parallel hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) during work. PID and fuzzy control algorithms are used to regulate the process of speed coordination in terms of look-up tables obtained from FC2000 testing system. Simulation results illustrate the PID controller has a better response for the dynamic coordinated control of speed in the small range variation of working conditions, so as to ensure the speed stability.
