Research and Implementation of Virtual Assembly Motion Guided by Assembly Force

Article Preview

Abstract:

The definition of assembly force is defined in this paper. The assembly force is classified according to the different states of assembly parts. The draft-hole assembly is presented as an example to analyze how the assembly force effects the process of virtual assembly. A kind of virtual assembly motion method guided by assembly force is proposed to simulate the real assembly process. A prototype system based on assembly force is presented.
