Abstract: SERCOS is an international standard for communication in the digital servo system and electrical drives. It has been increasingly used in industrial automation equipment. This paper introduces the working principle and property of the SERCOS interface, and the SERCOS bus technology is used in the multi-axis motion control system. The PC coordinately control the slave computer through SERCOS bus. At the same time, PC will receive the feedback information of motion parameters timely, which can enhance the flexibility of the control system. SERCOS realizes the multi-axis motion based on the TwinCAT software platform, which has verified the rationality and feasibility of the control structure.

Abstract: The product key characteristics (KCs) which are the small number of key product quality information have a significant impact on customer requirements. Firstly, the definition and classification of KCs was studied. Secondly, KCs evolvement model in the product lifecycle was proposed. The KCs evolvement consists of the KCs breakdown during design and the KCs realization during manufacturing and assembly. Thirdly, according to KCs process analysis, management mechanism of KCs based on workflow technology was presented. The workflow engine drives the KCs process and enables KCs to transfer accurately and quickly. Finally, a model of KCs management system (KCMS) based on web services was proposed.

Abstract: 3D Geographic Information System (3D GIS); 3D symbol library; Modeling. Abstract. The 3D symbol is the basic approach to represent geographic themes in 3D GIS. In this paper, a multi-scale data model for 3D symbol library is designed to solve the problems in the organization, storage and display for multi-scale symbols. The particle system and animation technology are utilized in dynamic display of 3D symbols. A multi-scale and dynamic 3D symbol library system prototype is constructed and applied in many 3D visualization systems. The results show that the 3D symbol library based on multi-scale and dynamic technology presents high performance.

Abstract: One kind of the reservoir gate monitoring and control system is developed, which is based on the operator station, remote control station, programmable logic controller and industrial network, to build a distributed networked control system. In this system, the position of the gate’s displacement is measured by a rotary coder that provides a Profibus-DP interface, and the reliability is enhanced. The communication program between the rotary coder and the controller is listed.

Abstract: This paper designs a bi-directional hydraulic lock used in a large flow hydraulic system for controllable pitch propeller. The lock is used to resist the hydraulic cylinder shifting when the pitch reaches the presetting situation. The structure parameters of the lock are obtained by static design, and the dynamic performance of it is analyzed by modeling and simulation with the system on rated load. The dynamic simulating discovers the faults of the lock designing by static calculating and the results provide sufficient supports for its parameters optimization.

Abstract: A new compaction powder metallurgy equipment integrated with the mould and the frame is introduced to substitute the traditional powder metallurgy equipment (P/M). During the design and manufacture, finite element method is used to analyze the motion of the equipment. The Lagrange equation and modal synthesis method for flexible body are constructed, and then the cooperative simulation method using ADAMS and MARC is present for solving flexible multibody dynamics of flexible body. Results show that the design of the structure of the powder metallurgy equipment is feasible and the low cost and the simple structure are its merits compared to the traditional equipment.

Abstract: This paper set up a data acquisition system by AT89C52 single chip microcomputer as control core, using the RS-232 serial manner communicated with responsibled for data acquisition of microprocessor, and used LED to display. System can be divided into data acquisition module, serial communication module, control module, keyboard module, display module, etc. System of multi-channel data acquisition can be displayed in the LED after processed. The hardware circuit and software realized design functions :data acquisition and LED display.

Abstract: Hydraulic transmission bicycle is a new type of vehicle. It is crucial for founding an effective method of rapid development for new product. The concept drafting of hydraulic transmission bicycle was drawn, the multiple layer assembly model was built based on parametric feature modeling technique, the skeleton model and total design of hydraulic transmission bicycle was accomplished by top-down method and drawings of relevant parts based on three-dimensional model were created. The result shows that top-down method provides a new idea to improve the rapid design of product’s updates.

Abstract: A kind of 5Nm prototype LABLTM (Limited-Angle Brushless Torque Motor) is presented and designed. The basic structure of the motor is deliberated. The method of calculating the electromagnetic torque is provided. The Magnet software is used to optimize some important parameters of the motor. The prototype is fabricated. The test results of the prototype indicate that the LABLTM, with high torque and high reliability, does meet the requirements of direct drive actuator of precision welding equipment. It has a promising future in automatic control, electrical drive, etc.

Abstract: To improve the test precision of detection device for some airborne thermometer system, the hardware structure and software design of auto-detection instrument for airborne temperature indicator are introduced. The 89C52 single-chip computer is used in the detection instrument. The CPU、A/D、 D/A and I/O boards are assembled as a cascade structure. By using the technology of the advanced chip and Lab Windows / CVI 5.0, the instrument’s precision and flexibility is greatly enhanced. The testing results illustrate the testing resolution is 23Bit, the output electric current is 10mA, the precision is ±0.01mV.
