Abstract: In this paper, it introduces the work principle of abrasive waterjet polishing (AWJP) and analyzes the jet distance to the influence of the AWJP under a certain pressure, with a numerical simulation and analysis to the jet distance based on jet mechanics and fluid dynamics. By establishing the physical models of the different jet distance of the AWJP and adopting the Realizable k-ε model and the SIMPLEC algorithm, it gains the jet flow field of the AWJP with different jet distance models and the distribution of turbulence intensity and pressure and velocity on the workpiece surface. The numerical simulation results of the different jet distance were analyzed and compared, according to the AWJP to the characteristic requirement of the jet. By doing the polishing experiment with a abrasive waterjet cutting machine, it verifies that the best polishing distance range of AWJP is from 10 times to 13 times of the nozzle diameter, which provides the theoretical basis for the process research of the AWPJ in the future.

Abstract: In order to improve the weaving workshop productivity in textile industry, ant colony algorithm is used to solve knitting process scheduling problem. A model of ant colony algorithm for complex working conditions such as multi-product, multi-delivery, emergency orders coming which often occurs in the enterprise is established. Examples show that the method can effectively deal with complex conditions with good results. The modified Ant colony algorithm is feasible in the Knitting Process scheduling problem in the textile weaving industry.

Abstract: In this paper, The authors briefly introduced preparation mechanism of quartz nano-powder by ball milling, Analyzed the process parameters on the effect of quartz nano-powder preparation. used orthogonal experiment to study the test method of quartz nano-powders prepared by ball milling, applicated artificial neural network technology to build a prediction model of powder parameters based on BP network and optimized the BP network weights and improved the prediction model of quartz particle size based on BP network by using the global search capability of genetic algorithm . This study showed that the model has higher accuracy and realize acceptable prediction of powder particle size. The technology provided the theoretical guidance for further study on its parameters selection and the preparation of quartz nano technology industrialization.

Abstract: This paper focuses on the static and dynamic characteristics of a high speed CNC lathe feeding system, which is analyzed by using the Finite Element Method (FEM). In this study, the location of the maximum stress and deformation is demonstrated and checked, natural frequency and corresponding vibration modes is extracted and analyzed respectively, and the way to build finite element model is simply conducted. Furthermore, vibration testing of the feeding system in X, Y, Z-Direction is carried out respectively, both the theoretical analysis and test results show good agreement with each other. Finally, some conclusions and reviews are made based on the analysis results, which provide some reliable basis for the reasonable operation and static and dynamic characteristics’ improvement for the feeding system.

Abstract: Zeolites belong to a most prominent class of nanoporous materials which have been considered as potential sorbents for hydrogen storage. The adsorption of hydrogen molecules on MFI, MOR and LTA zeolites, which encompass a range of different pore structure and chemical composition, has been simulated employing Grand Canonical Monte Carlo (GCMC) method. We compare their capacities of hydrogen storage at different temperatures and pressures. The results show that the adsorbed amounts is in order of LTA>MOR>MFI at the same condition. The effects of pore structure of zeolites, temperature and pressure on the hydrogen adsorption has been examined. The results clearly show that: (1) the temperature effect on the adsorption decreases with decreasing in the number of hydrogen molecules adsorbed. (2) A large volume of micropores and a suitable diameter near to the kinetic diameter of a hydrogen molecule are important for improving the hydrogen-storage capacity of zeolites. Based on this, we can conclude that the LTA zeolite with a large pore volume and a suitable channel diameter exhibits a most efficient hydrogen storage capacity than MOR and MFI zeolites.

To optimize the cutting disc size and subarea size and the number of cutting disc fan block etc. which will influence the indicator of performance parameters of cutting disc and to arrive at a more reasonable design parameters via the Monte Carlo simulation method.

Abstract: In order to improve the work efficiency and the utilization of knowledge in ship collaborative design, researchers introduce the technique of PDM into it. However, there exits vast amounts of heterogeneous data in ship collaborative design, which affects the smooth progress of ship design, and it also creates obstacles to the designers those in different work fields. This thesis analyzes the processing method of heterogeneous data, solves the problems of how to exchange and transmit data in a heterogeneous environment. There puts forwards a model using XML to realize the combination of heterogeneous data in ship collaborative design at last.

Abstract: NC transformation of milling machine not only reduces the investment cost, but also improves the machining accuracy of machine components and productivity. This paper presents NC transformation of X502 milling machine, the main researches include the mechanical parts of the transformation plan, the calculation and selection of key mechanical components such as reduction gears, ball screws and stepper motors. According to requirements for the machine control system, electrical system is improved, the proper CNC system is also chosen. After transformation, X502 milling machine is promoted greatly and obtains excellent efficiencies and effectiveness in use.

Abstract: Since modern production system is a highly complicated discrete manufacturing system, it is very difficult to design the production line by traditional means. However, through building model of production system in virtual environment, analyzing and evaluating production system performance based on system simulating technology, the production system’s parameter and configuration can be optimized ahead of production plan to optimize production process and improve production efficiency. In this paper, the main shaft production line simulation model is constructed based on the object oriented discrete system software eM-Plant. The production line throughput, utilization and bottleneck operations are analyzed. Based on this, it can support the configuration of production line optimized. The example verifies that the modeling and simulation technology could be successfully used in manufacturing industry.
