Simplified Simulation and Compute of the Horizontal Displacement of Diaphragm Wall

Article Preview

Abstract:

When using ANSYS to simulate and compute a diaphragm wall, because of the complexity of soil properties, soil beneath bottom foundation pit will have to be simulated by several different soil layers. This makes it much more complicated of simulation and compute. In order to simplify the simulation method, in this article, we get a new theory of zero-displacement insertion and fixation under a certain depth. In this way we can control displacement under a certain depth to be zero by changing parameters of analogue cells and simplify simulation and compute.
