Research on Lubricating Property of Piston Pin

Article Preview

Abstract:

The lubrication model of connecting rod small end is established based on AVL Excite Designer software. On the based the four-cylinder diesel engine, the key to the study is the variation of oil-film thickness between the piston pin and the connecting-rod bush. The relationship between the oil film and the engine rotate speed is analyzed, and the results indicated that variation amplitude of the oil film thickness becomes smaller by the engine rotate speed increases, and the average film thickness is increased
