Simulation of Aluminum Electrolysis by Non-Grid-Connection Wind Power

Article Preview

Abstract:

The wind power is an important energy complement to fossil fuels consumption, bears the advantages of green, renewable and carbon emission-free. The wind energy has been developing and exploiting in recent decades around the world, but because wind power holds high fluctuation and instability, direct grid connection brings about some technical and management problems. Non-grid-connection wind power consumes the generated power into some high energy consumption fields, it is a local method to utilize wind power, and bears convenience, high efficiency, and practicality. In the paper, a virtual reality system is built, which demonstrates the aluminum electrolysis by non-grid-connection wind power. Based on the developed virtual reality simulation system, the key processes are able to offline analyzed, and the engineering configuration is capable of demonstrated, meanwhile, some key engineering problems are predicted in advance.
