Abstract: The goal of product design is to meet the anticipated design goal. The market demands of congeneric products have difference in type of construction and quantity, so the design objective of products shouldn’t be same. The process of product’s modularization should accommodate the multi-design objective. It should be taken into account in the process of parts’ clustering not only the parts’ feature but also specific service condition of the parts. The rules and the its factor weight are determined impersonally by the method of AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) for the different goal. The different calculated methods are adopted base on the different character between the parts’ interaction values, and the objectivity and accuracy have been improved. The effectiveness of the clustering method has been proved by an example and the different clustering results have been found for different design goal.

Abstract: In numerical control machining, the number and the size of the cutting tools in use have a significant effect on machining efficiency. This paper puts forward a method to select the most appropriate group of cutters for 3D pocket machining using NC machine tools, which aim to minimize the total machining time. Considering the material is removed layer by layer in roughing, three scan-line filling algorithm is proposed to calculate the cutting area of every layer, which is necessary to calculate the machining time. After the total machining time of each group of cutters is calculated, the optimal group of cutters can be determined easily. Both the theoretical analysis and the simulated results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the efficiency of NC machining.

Aim at researched Weapon, the finite element model of the gun body was built, the temperature field of the gun body was calculated by FEM. Abstract: The second remelt is an important influencing factor during semi-solid thixotropy forming technology, and the microstructure is immediately impacted by temperature distribution state. By the way of induction heating the axial temperature distribution state of 45# steel is researched in this paper. The results indicate: the uniformity of axial temperature distribution doesn’t reach the ideal state. There are wider differences in temperature among various points while the heating power is definite. When the change of power the differences of temperature get smaller and there are the trends of homogeneous.

Abstract: The traditional digital watermarking, as a copyright protection technique, has been widely applied for the multimedia information, such as text, picture, video, etc. In this paper, a new scheme is planned to embed watermark into the porcelain decal for describing the property declaration of Jingdezhen ceramics. Since the images on Jingdezhen ceramic are manually created, it cannot be regularly modulated by the watermark during the watermark embedding process. Therefore, the digital watermarking technique cannot be directly applied to the ceramics. This paper presents a specially designed digital watermarking system for the protection of the ceramic property. The results from the experiment show that our proposed algorithm achieves the purpose.

Abstract: In this study, the machining parameters of electrical discharge machining (EDM) are varied to study the effects of electrical discharge energy on material removal rate and surface roughness of NdFeB magnet. Moreover, the micro-cracks on the machined surface induced by EDM are also examined. The experimental results reveal that the MRR increases with the electrical discharge energy. The surface cracks on the machined surface are more serious when the discharge energy is higher. Thus, using EDM process to machine sintered NdFeB magnet depends on setting the machining parameters to prevent surface crack.

Abstract: With a variety of computer-aided design software and different operating platforms being applied in the enterprise, integration between heterogeneous systems increasingly attracts widespread concern and attention. In this paper, two levels of integration, information integration and application integration, are studied on the basis of system integration. This paper constructs enterprise integration platform based on WindChill to realize integration of information and application. And an example about platform is given and analyzed.

Abstract: The sheet metal CNC incremental forming is a flexible dieless forming technology that forms a sheet part by extruding the sheet metal point by point with the movement of forming tool along the forming path. The tool paths therefore have a great effect on the dimensional accuracy, surface quality and forming time. In this paper, an overview of the research status about the forming tool path generation for sheet metal CNC incremental forming is presented briefly.
