Abstract: A new idea, method and technology are provided for research on complex kinematics and dynamics of a biped robot using computer simulation technology. The virtual prototype of the biped robot, created by Pro/ENGINEER, is put into ADAMS and setting material, fixed joints, revolute joints, contact forces, frictions, torque and gravity are implemented for the virtual prototype to carry out dynamics simulation. The calculation of testing curve is conducted with ADAMS/PostProcessor to acquire trajectory curve of each component of mass center for the biped robot with respect to time. The trajectory curve is imported into Matlab to get space trajectory curve of mass center and its parameterized equation through functional curve fitting trajectory curve.

Abstract: Currently our country is vigorously developing the modern service industry, in which the manufacturing service constitutes an important part and the cloud manufacturing is a kind of modern manufacturing mode for the realization of the manufacturing services. This paper first analyses the definition of cloud manufacturing, and then emphatically analyses the core technology of cloud manufacturing. As virtualization technology is the core supporting technology for cloud manufacturing, this paper conducts a detailed analysis on the application of the virtualization technology in cloud manufacturing. Finally, this paper summarizes and proposes the prospect of the cloud manufacturing technology.

Abstract: During Thixomolding process, solid phase fraction decreased with the injection velocity increasing. Meanwhile, the solid phase morphology changed from irregular dendrite to near spherical. Friction heat produced by high speed melt flow could cause partial melt of solid phase, and the morphology of solid phase would form into globular. The dendritic solid phase can be broken by high speed melt flow under the condition of injection velocity higher than 2.0m/s.

Abstract: In this paper, according to the principle of reverse engineering, first, we got experimental data by three coordinate measuring machines. Then carried on the data processing and surface reconstruction so as to complete the space surface mold design, final the numerical control simulation is performed in the software.

Abstract: According to the characteristics of fixture, a method is introduced to develop a modular fixture parts library by using visual programming language VC + +, SolidWorks API interface and configuration technology. First of all, the modular fixture Library has been established through the configuration technology of driving parameters. Secondly, it is programmed to generate a pop-up menu and SolidWorks plug-ins to achieve the module fixture parts call. At the same time, management and utilization of the modular fixture Library is completed, providing users with rapid fixture design based on 3D modeling environment, and contributing to the promotion and application of CAD technology in the machine tool industry

Abstract: In this paper, for improving simulative accuracy of auto panel forming, some key factors of numerical simulation with finite element method on automobile panel stamping forming are researched. These key factors include finite element algorithm, adaptive mesh, element type and element formulation, hourglass control, material model, and so on. Through simulation example and analysis show that the dynamic explicit algorithm is suitable for metal stamping forming and the static implicit algorithm for springback stage, the adaptive mesh must be adopted in sheet blank forming, element should be selected shell elements, material model should be selected Barlat’s 3-parameter plasticity model.

Abstract: The normal pressure in polishing area is investigated in electrorheological (ER) fluid-assisted polishing process. Under the influence of the non-uniform electric field, the dielectric particles in the ER polishing fluid are polarized to form the rigid core attached to the tool electrode due to the ER effect. In this work, the rigid core generated by the gathered mass of ER polishing fluid on the tip of tool electrode with the applied electric field is analyzed. The material is removed by abrasive particles under the effect of normal pressure and velocity. Based on the theory of hydrodynamic lubrication, a mathematical model taking into account the normal pressure is derived. Further experiments about the normal pressure experiments changing with the applied voltage, spindle rotational speed and working gap are conducted and the experimental results are compared with the theoretical results, which confirm the validity of the presented model
