Abstract: The South–to–North Water Diversion project provides water mainly for Henan and Hebei province , Beijing and Tianjin city . So the ecological environment protection in the water source areas is very important. But the ecological environment of water source areas of the middle route project is damaged becsuse a large amount of fertilizer and pesticide are used in the field, the pollution is heavy, and some lakes are turned into fields at some area. The systematic ecological circulation circles have not been established. This paper puts forward the countermeasures and methods of establishing the ecological circulation circle in the water rource areas of the middle route project after it illustrates the importance of establishing the ecological circulation circle in the water source areas , and analyzes the problems of the ecological circulation circle in the water source areas.

Abstract: Environmental flow requirements (EFRs for short), which considered the requirements for protection of migratory fishes habitat in spawning and larval period, were analyzed in this paper for the Zhangweixin River Estuary (ZRE for short), China. Based on the different levels of salinity objectives and the relationship between salinity and the freshwater inflows, the EFRs for the ZRE were determined. Annual EFRs should be 2.1 × 108 and 9.9 × 108 m3 for the minimum and appropriate levels objectives in the ZRE, respectively. The minimum and appropriate EFRs can be satisfied by 38% and 11% of year’s annual freshwater inflows in the ZRE during 1956-2010, respectively. Moreover, with the freshwater inflows decreasing, the monthly EFRs for the ZRE cannot be fulfilled in longer period of the year. The seasonal discrepancy between the water quantity requirement to meet ecological goals and the practical freshwater inflows was outstanding during longer periods of the 2000s. The periods from March to September should be considered as the critical seasons to maintain the minimum environmental flows in the ZRE.

Development and utilization of regional water more than its carrying capacity serious.Support the development of oasis and improve the ecological environment problems in Minqin basin, system analysis for the reasonable exploitation and utilization of groundwater need guarantee of rational use of water resources, and sustainable economic development and ecological environment of the benign circulation.

Abstract: Due to the shortage of fresh water in north-west China, the exploitations of saline water became very important for mitigating agricultural water shortage. Our study carried out plot experiments under different salinity water irrigation in the Shiyang River Basin, comprehensively considering the effect of water and salt factors on the growth of spring-corn, imported salinity stress factor and built water-salt production function basing on water production functions Blank model and Jensen model which were general used in the world. Through the Water-salt production function, calculating the salt sensitive index in different growth stage of spring-corn and the result shows that the salt sensitive degree sequence is seeding stage > jointing stage> tasseling-grouting stage> maturity stage.

Abstract: This paper is based on "the method of ecological footprint of water resource" and through establishing "ecological footprint of water resource" model to analyze the water resources utilization of ChangZhuTan region, Xiangjiang River. Time-series is applied to researching the water resources utilization of ChangZhuTan region , Xiangjiang River from 2003 to 2009. Meanwhile, the indicators like ecological footprint of water resource and so on in the following 6 years are predicted. Ecological footprint of water resource per ten thousand yuan GDP is introduced to analyze the water utilization efficiency of ChangZhuTan Region, Xiangjiang River quantitively. The result shows that, from 2003 to 2009, the water resources of ChangZhuTan Region, Xiangjiang River is in the state of ecological Surplus, but the ecological surplus value decreases year by year, which means that the sustainable utilization of Xiangjiang River is getting worse. The prediction also shows that the ecological footprint of water resource per ten thousand yuan GDP will increase year by year in the next 6 years, which means that the water utilization will be less efficient.

Abstract: Along with the human activities and the economy development, the amount of waters resource has been decreased, the function of waters is weakened or losing, a series of the ecological environment problems has been gradually emerged. In order to better protect and manage waters resource, the legal system, institutional system, technology systems of the waters resource protection and management must be built as soon as possible, so that the work level of the waters resource protection and management will be advanced by the "three systems", the good condition of the local waters resource is the important guarantee for the social and economic sustainable development.

Abstract: Based on the general description of agricultural environment standards and view of economic sustainable development, the paper puts forwards that system can ensure economic sustainable development , and illustrates the system features of agricultural environment standards, therefore, holds that agricultural environment standards is system safeguard to achieve economic sustainable development.
