Study on the New-Style Building Materials in Civil Engineering — Architectural Sandwich Panel and its Application

Abstract:

As a new type constructional material, sandwich panels are applied in engineering more and more. The structural characteristics of sandwich panels are described. The research on the sandwich panels is reviewed. The careful items of sandwich panels in practical engineering are investigated. Some new problems of sandwich panels are put forward for engineering researchers. It is helpful for engineers to learn the sandwich panel’s capacity in detail, which will be benefit to the sandwich panels applied in the practical engineering effectively.
