Analysis of Load Transfer Mechanism with Rock-Soil Anchoring Technology in Soil Tension-Type Prestressed Anchor for Civil Engineering

Article Preview

Abstract:

As an effective rock-soil anchoring technology, tension-type prestressed anchor is widely used in retaining foundation pits and slope for civil engineering because of its fewer perturbation, easier construction, more safety and more stability. The load transfer of anchorage section is the key to the civil engineering design and performance controls of the anchor. Several theoretic models for load transfer mechanism are compared and their insufficiencies are pointed out from the view point of civil engineering application.
