The Design and Implementation of Intelligent Distributed Computer Monitor-Control System for Full Hydraulic Plate Leveler

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper describes the distributed control system design and implementation of third-generation leveler. The system is based on multiple field-buses, and consisted of many distributed computer control system, such as automation station, main operating station, monitoring station, engineers stations and so on. Through PLC control frequency converter, the system has realized the speed of transmission motor and tension control. And through the hydraulic position control loop, the system has realized the roll gap setting and maintained constant pressure. Because of this, in the head and tail, the steel have gained well straightening quality. The plate factory of a steel company used the four-fold hydraulic reversible 11 rolls leveler that is developed by the Taiyuan University of Technology. Through the practice proved, the control system is running well and meeting the control requirement of third-generation leveler.
