A Practical Method for 10kV Overhead Line Fault Detection and Location Based on Real-Time Online Wave-Recording Devices

Article Preview

Abstract:

The fault detection and location technology for the neutral non-effectively grounded system is one of the power-system research areas over the years. This paper describes a practical method for 10kV overhead line fault detection and location by using a real-time online wave recording device. By the proposed method, the run-time health state of the distribution overhead lines can also be monitored easily.
