Abstract: This essay puts silicate rocks test as example on the basic of the analysis of new technology and method of geological experiment. This essay analyses the experimental principal and process of silicate rock’s total iron content, and it based on geology experimental operation process. The essay tries to probe into silicate rock’s mineral chemical composition, rock structure and tectonics through the research of the iron content and other chemical components of silicate rocks. Furthermore, this essay also estimates the optional mineral’s component content of sandstone ore, and then evaluates mining products and industrial and economic value. It is very important to guide the development of the mine.

Abstract: There are great oil and gas exploration prospect in south of Daqing Placanticline, with unclear understanding of source rock and accumulation model, the progress of oil exploration is restricted. To definite the source of oil and gas, according to chromatography data and analysis data, combined with potential of hydrocarbon generation and expulsion, oil-gas migration pathway, the hydrocarbon migration and accumulation model is proposed. It can be concluded that the oil from Putaohua reservoir in the south of Daqing Placanticline area mainly come from K2qn1 source rock locally, while the hydrocarbon sources of K2qn1 in the east and west of the depression makes small contribution to the research area. Migrate in source area is the main hydrocarbon migration and accumulation mode. Re-define the oil source of Putaohua reservoir can help enhance the cognition of the hydrocarbon accumulation condition and accumulation model, in order to direct the research for the accumulation and distribution principle of oil and gas exploration and favorable area prediction in the future.

Abstract: Based on the sequence stratigraphy study, the relation between dark mudstone ratio and sedimentary facies in different system tracts is observed and used to forcast the distribution of dark mudstones in the main formation combining with seismic data and well log. However, not all dark mudstones can generate hydrocarbon, so the source rock quality is quoted to calculate the thickness of the source rock within mudstone. The results show that the favored source rock in lake progressive system tracts and the bottom of highstand system tracts of Xiagou Formation and Chijinpu Formation are related to a group of reflectors with medium-strong amplitude, medium-low frequency and medium to comparatively good lateral continuity. The source rock of Xiagou Formation with high organic content and wide-range distribution is the major hydrocarbon source in Ying’er Sag, while Chijinpu Formation with thick dark mudstones is the potential source rock and the target of the further exploration.

Abstract: It is a low degree of geological studiedness in Jiwa area, the published synthesis and other reliable data is rare. By adopting similar analogy and comprehensive analysis methods, it found that the content is the highest about Au, As, Sb, Cu and W based on the relationship of the distribution of elements and time, this characteristic has reflected the evolution characteristics of carbonate in Palaeozoic in this area. The content is the highest about Pb, Zn, Ag and Cd in volcanic rock strata in Paleogene-Neogene, it reflected that the characteristic of elements associations related to intermediate-acidic volcanic activity. The content is the highest about Au, Ag and Sn in strata in Quaternary, which would forms gold deposits (spots), it reflected mainly the characteristic of elements mineral enrichment related with weathering origin in period. There are three minerals-ore combination types of wolframite-molybdenum-bismuthinite-chalcopyrite-pyrite quartz vein type, wolframite-molybdenum-bismuthinite-chalcopyrite-pyrite mica-quartz type, tungsten-molybden- limonite ores-oxidised type. Prospecting direction is Au-Pb-Zn hydrothermal filling type, the Cu deposit of sand-type and skarn-type copper polymetallic deposit. It has very important theory and real sense via scientific investigation of main geologic characteristics and metallogenic models research in Jiwa area.

Abstract: Due to geologic conditions and drilling and logging technology limitation, many wells, especially old exploration wells are often collapsed in the borehole, which influences the quality of the logging curves. Therefore, it is necessary to eliminate the effect of borehole collapse on logging curves and obtain the logging that could actually reflect the formation, when synthetic seismogram is established. The logging rebuilding technology based on multiple-element regression can improve synthetic seismogram apparently, and it has presented good application results.

Abstract: The research of resources potential assessment methods is of important significance for improving economic benefits of mineral exploration. Aiming at the GIS-based assessment approach for mineral resources, the following are analyzed: Introduces superiority and feasibility of resources assessment using GIS, summarizes thinking way and work flow of the GIS-based mineral resources potential assessment, and taking coal resources utilization survey as an example, shows the practical applications of the evaluation of mineral resources using GIS. The results show that GIS-based assessment approach for mineral resources can realize quantitative identification and extraction from mineralization information using a variety of digitized geological information, and finally define locations, reserves and its quality of mineral resources.

Abstract: Zimbabwe Great Dyke is a mafic-ultramafic lithosome intruded the Zimbabwe Craton. MSZ(Main Sulfide Zone) is the most important layer which contains substantial amount of PGE(Platinum Group Elements). PGE are concentrated in bottom of MSZ layer because of the intimate relationship between the content of Cu&Ni and enrichment of PGE. Acid vein rocks did not formed in the same period with the ore and adjacent rocks. Plenty of sulfide can be found in MSZ in pyroxenite, Sulfide in ore was owe to homogeneous of geochemistry process in the magamtic segregation cycle, while them in gabbro and fractures were simply by the post magmatic thermal solution activities.

Abstract: Sulige Gas Field is located in the Suligemiao area, northwest of the Ordos Basin, with a prospecting area of about 4×104km2. Owing to the strong heterogeneity in the SQW Block, one of exploration blocks in the Sulige Gas Field, remains reservoir characteristics of the gas field: lithologic gas reservoirs with characteristics of “three low” (low pressure, low permeability and low abundance). The He8 member of the Shihezi formation, the major exploration target, is deposited in braided river environment. The conventional logging data is very useful to indentify different facies and to estimate gas potential. The technology of discrimination with sedimentary facies and gas layers using logging data is established in this paper. We use the technology combining with AVO and other exploration methods to pick out 4 favorable exploration target areas with the success rate of more than 80%.

Abstract: With the rapid development of national economy, combined with the construction of strategic reservation of petroleum in China, difficulty of large-scale energy storage and peak-shaving comes up. In recent years, the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) and a number of energy companies launched two projects in the Columbia Basin to evaluate the technical and economic feasibility of underground gas and wind power storage in basalt interflow aquifers. These projects reveal the potential of volcanic rocks in the underground energy storage areas. This paper briefly describes the new progress of study in underground gas storage (UGS), compressed air energy storage (CAES) and underground thermal energy storage (UTES) of volcanic rocks. We point out that depleted volcanic oil and gas reservoirs could be another complementary type of UGS and CAES, and volcanic rocks types should be included extrusive rocks and pyroclastic rocks. At last, volcanic energy storage technologies used in some domestic related areas of enlightenment is summarized to provide theoretical basis for building green, efficient and low-consumption economy.

Abstract: Synthetically using the empirical statistic method, porosity—permeability intersection method minimum flow pore throat radius method and oil test method. We can seek for the physical property lower limit of different depth of deep reservoirs of Yuan Yang Gou. According to liner regression, we achieved the functional equation which shows functional relationship between physical property lower limit and depth. At the same time, we also talk about the characteristics of different methods and the control factors of physical property lower limit The results show that although the methods have advantages and disadvantages, we should use these methods in a synthetically way. However, the porosity lower limit of the study area mainly is controlled by reservoirs which is based on primary pore and mainly affected by the depth, it also presents a good liner relationship with the logarithm of depth of burial .Permeability lower limit is mainly affected by reservoirs that is based on secondary pore Permeability lower limit shows a exponential relationship with depth of burial too, but its relative relevance is bad.
