Recent Advances of Application of Capillary Electrophoresis in Traditional Chinese Medicine Analysis

Article Preview

Abstract:

The capillary electrophoresis (CE) is a powerful analytical technique in analytical chemistry and bioanalytical chemistry due to its high resolution, minimal sample requirements and low operating costs. Recent advances of application of CE for the analysis of traditional Chinese medicine is critically reviewed in this paper. After a simple discussion of the mode of separation and detection, special attention is focused on application of CE techniques and strategies for the qualitative and quantitative analysis in traditional Chinese medicine.
