Design of Location and Tracking System for Special Crowd Based on ARM

Abstract:

This paper addresses a new design scheme of location and tracking system which can be used suitably by special crowd .The architecture and working theory of this system is introduced in details. The system uses the ARM microprocessor S3C240 as a control unit to combine with GPS and GSM modules.RFID and GPS technologies are combined to achieve positioning in this design, which can realize location and tracking both inside and outside of the designated area. It has the characteristics of rapidity, real-time, portabilty, accuracy etc.
