Abstract:

The integration of the facilities for recreation and disaster mitigation is the important concept to ensure “combination of peace time and disaster time” of disaster-mitigation emergency congregate shelters. Taking disasters prevention park as an example, this paper discusses the conversion designs of sheltering site and park land, waterscape and water supply for disaster prevention, woodland and fire proofing belt area, broadcast, communication, electric power and light facilities, park warehouse and the storage of material for disaster prevention, entrance and periphery configuration.
