Reliability and Resistance Statistical Analysis for the Structural Members of Cold- Formed Thin-Walled Structures

Abstract:

This study analyze the capacity formulae of the structural members whose stress are the compressing, pure bending and compression-bending, which are recommended in Chinese Unified Standard for The Reliability Design of Building Structure, by the first order second moment method. The analytical results indicate that the reliability indexes of the design formulae can meet the requirements of the Unified Standard for The Reliability Design of Building Structure (GB 50068-2001) for plastic material.
