Choice of Materials and Application of New Materials in Industrial Design

Abstract:

From the perspective of industrial design discusses that product materials have the appearance feeling, processing forming, surface processing and environmental durability and other characteristics, and elaborates that in the choice of materials need to consider some factors: product function, product structure, product safety, product surface, the sense of the times of product, the using environment of product. Progressiveness of modern industrial product is not only embodied in its function and structure, but also in the application of new materials. It pointed out that material is the material basis of industrial design. With the rapid development of science and technology, the new materials emerge in an endless stream. The rich varieties and excellent performance of the new materials created good material condition for the development of new products.
