Digital Studying of Surface Groove on the Pipe Hydroforming Process in Cross Shaped Joint Production
Abstract:
The Y and T pipe joints production has recently been noticed by the researchers and industrial men.This paper, approved by the Ministry of Energy, is a part of the research result that analyzes the effect of surface grooves on the Counterpunch and friction coefficient on the pipe wall surface in pipe hydroforming Process for cross shaped joint production.The simulation results show creating the groove on the counterpunch surface causes distribution of thickness in bulged region changes. More over these results show that thickness distribution is a complex function of friction coefficient.
