Abstract:

Monolithic die often early failure due to tangential cracking in the production process of the bush by cold extrusion; Derived through theoretical calculations based on the study of the bush forming process technology, a reasonable interference quantity, contact stress, designed to double-deck prestressed sectional female die, established a reasonable boundary conditions of the finite element model; using ANSYS Workbench as a platform, the work process of the double-deck prestressed sectional female die are studied by numerical simulation, preliminary forecast of the distribution of the stress field of the sectional female die in no-load and work process, compared to the working strength of the original monolithic die, verified the superiority of prestressed sectional female die, provided a valuable reference for the actual production.
