Abstract: Modern vehicle dynamics in its broadest sense encompasses all forms of vehicles. It aims to improve the riding comfort and the maneuverability for high-quality automobiles. This paper develops a sensor-based fuzzy controller (SFC) with a composite anti-lock braking system and tracking control system (ABS/TCS) to navigate escaping motions of wheeled vehicles under the assumption of Coulombs viscous friction and lumped-mass/rigid-body motions. The so-called escaping dynamics of wheeled vehicles occurs when the vehicle escapes from the constrained space during braking or cornering. Traditionally, such slippage phenomenon is usually ignored because of its high frequency and strong nonlinear features. The proposed SFC is designed to shorten braking distance under emergent circumstances and minimize cornering radius to improve maneuverability for wheeled vehicles. Finally, detailed simulations of wheeled vehicles with a composite ABS/TCS under the assumption of Coulombs viscous friction are used to justify the SFC algorithm.

Abstract: Machinery and equipment descriptions play an important role in the design and manufacturing of industrial machinery devices and help reducing the design time and manufacturing costs of machinery devices. However, one of the main obstacles to realize efficient device design and manufacturing is the lack of effective semantic description method because of the surprisingly increasing volume and semantically fuzzy natures of the industrial device descriptions. To overcome this problem, this paper presents a novel fuzzy ontology-based device description method and implements the intelligent device retrieval and representation system based on the fuzzy ontology. The fuzzy inference and semantic fusion mechanisms of this approach are demonstrated.

Abstract: This article gives a method about driving a virtual human by motion capture data in software Jack. Firstly simplify Jack's skeleton model according to the skeleton of capturing data BVH. Secondly set up an Euler angle rotation equation to mapping joint angles between BVH and Jack. Finally, program the method and give an example to show that it is available to improve Jacks human motion simulating by the human capturing data.

Abstract: By employing the concepts of support line and support function of the integral geometry, this paper presents an method for analyzing cam mechanisms with a flat-faced follower, including a translating follower, oscillating follower and planar motion follower. Then the condition that the whole segments of the cam profile are convex, and the coordinates of the cam profile are provided. Moreover, the formulas of the radius of curvature, perimeter and area of the cam mechanism are derived. Finally, an example is presented.

Abstract: A dental scanning system was developed using multiple light strips of DPSSL (Diode-Pumped Solid-State Laser) sources with a video capturing module of one CMOS camera. The laser line scanning method is less sensitive to the surface conditions of the materials for measurement compared with the structured light scanning method, and a multi-lines scanning design is used to improve the scanning efficiency. The study uses DPSSL lines to scan over the teeth models either by sequence or by sections, which determines the actual time spent. For an object within 100x100mm projective area, the scanning time is about 10 minutes with ±0.05 mm accuracy on a gypsum teeth model using sequential scanning. The results show high accuracy and efficiency scanning teeth models with multi-lines projecting module integrated within, and is possible for further improvement in the growing digital-dental industry.

Abstract: In this paper, the energy efficient temperature control algorithm in smart buildings is proposed using particle swarm optimization (PSO). A control horizon switching method with PSO is used for optimal control, and the TOU tariff is included to calculate the energy costs. Simulation results show that the reductions of energy cost and peak power can be obtained using proposed algorithms.

Abstract: The thesis research aimed to further the study of human-robot interaction (HRI) issues, especially regarding the development of rescue robot. The paper firstly discussed the status of the rescue robot and described the framework of human-robot interaction of search-rescue robot and rescue-evacuation robot. Subsequently, the general HRI issues will be discussed to explain how they affect the use of robots. Finally, we present suggested this multidisciplinary field of research, namely human-robot interaction, requires contributions from a variety of research fields such as robotics, human-computer interaction, and artificial intelligence.

Abstract: The guide assembly procedure of the engine cylinder, design a software system for real-time monitoring to improve the engine performance. Used pressure sensor and AD acquisition card for acquisition and processing the pressure and displacement data; the software system for controlling and detecting ,which adopts mechanisms of multi-thread provided by Linux OS and programming techniques of Qt, is established on the computer, make the detection oriented press mounting; Completed the functional by modular design approach, the pressure and displacement data displayed as a curve and stored the diagnostic analysis results in database. Practice shows, the software system was proved to be stable working, easily operated, enhance efficiency greatly and guarantee the assembly quality.

Abstract: According to present question about low precision detection of cartridge's geometric shape and not high level of automatic detection ,designer has designed multiple detection system about geometric parameters of the cartridge .Use the optical triangulation as a basic theory, and measure the cartridge's shapewall thicknessbottom thickness and so on at the same time by adopting Laser Range Finder Sensor with d high level of precision. Adopt servo motor to drive detection arm to realize the generality of all kinds of cartridge's detection. When test system collect data in real-time to make a report, it use a OPENGL tool to create the 3d graphics of objects being detected and see their defects directly as well as analysiscalculate the system's testing error. Experiment shows, that this method's fasterhigher level of detection can meet the demands of cartridge's geometric parameters.

Abstract: The inconsistency of the projectile's seizing-bore stroke of the large caliber gun during feeding process will lead to differences of the volume of propellant chamber and starting pressure of projectiles.It will also affect guns' muzzle velocity and firing accuracy.In order to improve the positioning accuracy of projectiles in an arm-type autoloader,first of all,high speed photography was used and only to find that there will be vibrations of projectiles in the direction of gravity.The vibrations will consume kinetic energy of the projectile and contribute to inconsistency of the retaining force.By means of analyzing the working mechanism of the rammer,the motion relationship among the parts during ramming process came to clear eventually.Then the position of the exciting source which causes vibrations of the projectile can be determined by analyzing the force situation of the rammer in the stationary state and the state of motion,and next,testing the amplitude and frequency of the position using laser displacement sensor.Finally,the improved scheme was raised to eliminate the impact of the vibration on stability of ramming.
