Abstract: Tomographic particle image velocimetry (Tomo-PIV) is a newly developed technique for three-component three-dimensional (3C-3D) velocity measurement based on the tomographic reconstruction of a 3D volume light intensity field from multiple two-dimensional projections. A simplification of 3D tomographic reconstruction model, which reduced from a 3D volume with 2D images to a 2D slice with 1D lines, simplify this 3D reconstruction into a problem of 2D plane reconstruction by means of optical tomography, is applied in this paper . The principles and details of the tomographic algorithm are discussed, as well as the study of ART and MART reconstruction algorithm is carried out by means of computer-simulated image reconstruction procedure. The three-dimensional volume particle field is reconstructed by MART reconstruction algorithm base on the simplified 3D reconstruction model which made a high reconstruction quality Q=81.37% prove that the way of simplification by MART reconstruction is feasible, so it could be applied in reconstruction of 3D particle field in tomographic particle image velocimetry system.

Abstract: In this paper, a fuzzy-based dynamic resource allocation scheme for load balancing in cloud computing (FDLB) is presented to growth of the service type and user number in the mobile networks of the higher performance is required in service provision and throughput. Besides, the estimation of workload is difficult and time consuming, and the result causes an unstable system and unnecessary message passing overhead. The structure of the FDLB is composed of the design the load distributed agent (LDA). It is observed that the FDLB exhibits better adaptability, robustness, and fault-tolerant capability, thus yielding better performances compared to other existing algorithms.

Abstract: When building the radial basis function (RBF) neural network with traditional method, the property of the network is easily influenced by the distribution of training samples. The learning ability and generalization ability are hard to achieve the optimum. In this paper, it presents a new method to solve this problem. In the method it replaced the traditional clustering algorithms with genetic algorithms to optimize the distribution of RBF. At the same time it combined the steepest descent method with GA to solve the binary defect of GA encoding. After experiments the results showed that the constructed neural network has a better architecture and more accuracy than that built with traditional method.

Abstract: Multi-robot system is one of the important study topics of robotics. Many near field wireless communication technologies are used in different systems nowadays. In this paper, the Zigbee module is chosen as the wireless communication solution for Multi-P3-AT-Robot Platform since it can build the Ad Hoc Network. Tests of the combination of different network topology structure and data sending mode were made using two platforms and three platforms. According to the test results and the application requirement, the star network topology and the broadcasting mode is configured in the Zigbee module which is used to build the Ad hoc network for multi-P3-AT-robot platform. Through the ability of self-organizing network, each platform can realize data interaction with other robots, and task planning & coordination between platforms. Moreover, the communication between each two platforms will not be affected although the connection may change due to the movement of the platform.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to construct the Taiwan Adolescent Digital Reading Assessment (TADRA) and further to examine its validity. Researchers took the structure of the PISA 2009 electronic reading assessment (ERA) and Leus (2004) online reading literacy as references to develop this tool which included three aspects: access and retrieve, integrate and interpret, and reflect and evaluate. Assessment material taken was from digital archive resources which possess high academic and educational value. The assessment system was developed on Internet/www platform, and runs and scors through ASP.NET. A pilot study was carried out in a junior high and high school in Taiwan. A total of 415 students, 216 8th graders and 199 10th graders, participated in the pilot study. Academic achievement of subjects was collected for preliminary testing TDARAs validity. After adapting classical testing theory (CTT) and item response theory (IRT), the results shown that P value is between 0.36-0.05, item difficulty parameter b is between 0.06-0.79, item discrimination is good (D=0.33-0.34); correlation coefficients between TADRA and Chinese is between 0.45-0.50, which is highest among all schools grades. This pattern demonstrates sensible supporting evidence for convergent and discriminant validity. Thease finding also indicate that basic searching ability is a requirement for online reading, hence differentiating online and offline reading.

The Relationship between Online Reading Literacy and ICT Familiarity for Junior High School Students
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between students'performance in online reading literacy and Information Communication Technology (ICT) familiarity for junior high school students. The primary data collection instruments were the researcher-designed Taiwan Adolescent Digital Reading Assessment and the PISA 2003 (Programme for International Student Assessment) ICT familiarity questionnaire to illustrate features of online reading literacy, overview of ICT familiarity, and interpretation of ICT familiarly with respect to online reading literacy. A total of 601 8th graders, 317 male and 284 female, participated in this study (N=601). Polytomous Rasch unidimensional IRT was adapted to estimate the scale scores and indicators, and linear regression was used to analyze the interpretation of all indicators toward online reading literacy. The results indicated that the online reading literacy of most students was situated on grade level. 8th graders can retrieve information from single webpage, can retrieve one or more source of information across multiple webpages, and can interpret the location of the information after searching several webpages; they can integrate information from designated webpages or from problem-related webpages; they can evaluate the reliability of data sources. 8th graders have reasonable frequency of computer use, and moderate computer using confidence. There is no significant difference of ICT familiarity between males and females. Among all the variables of ICT familiarity, frequency of using computer at home ranked first for explaining the online reading literacy level (R2=.14). However, frequency of using ICT and confidence did not positively correlate with online reading literacy.

Abstract: In this paper, we present a novel algorithm for uneven illumination image processing based on HIS color space and joint color space. Compared with many existing algorithms of image enhancement for the uneven illumination image, the proposed method have high performance compared with Histogram Equalization, Homomorphic filtering and Retinex. Some experiments are implemented to testify this conclusion.

Abstract: In this paper, the methods of extracting minerals weight information are studied based on hyperion hyperspectral remote sensing data, taking the region of Gannan area in Jiangxi as an example. After studying spectral angle mapping and matched filtering, the method has been developed which combines them to extract the weight information of minerals. The results show that this method can successfully apply and made spectral angle mapping integrate with matched filtering, combined their advantages and made up their shortcomings, and extract weight information of clay minerals accurately from the background image. Meanwhile, the location of all kinds of mineral and results of mineral mapping are consistent very well, reflecting the application feasibility of the method.
