Abstract:

To investigate the chemical constituents of the seed of Stellera Chamejasme L, the constituents were isolated by silica gel, and polyamide column chromatography, and their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic analysis. Three compounds were obtained and identified as umbelliferone, 3-hydroxy-6-methoxy-7-(2-oxochromen-7-yl) oxychromen-2-one and dephnin. A novel compound two was isolated from the seed of Stellera Chamejasme L.
