Abstract: Based on the parameters of flue gas in a float glass klin we designed and discussed the thermal parameters of its waste heat power generation system. According to the thermal equilibrium calculated data that based on the internationally accepted water and steam thermodynamic properties formula IAPWS-IF97. Respectively regarded the lowest exhaust gas temperature and the maximum generating capacity as the final targets. We analyzed the two designs. Finally we got the conclusion that we should take the maximum generating capacity as the goal.

Abstract: A visualization experimental investigation for the pulsating heat pipe (PHP) was carried out to obtain the flow characteristics in the PHP steady operating process with controlling the input heat flux and condensing temperature. The experimental results show that the flow patterns are mainly slug flow with the intermittent pulsation at low heating power, churn flow, and annular flow with steady unidirectional circulation at high heating power. The flow direction switch phenomenon was also observed and analyzed. When the PHP heating section is occupied by vapor slugs for a long time, the backflow phenomenon provides liquid to the bottom of the heating section and reforms a new liquid slug.

Abstract: During operating, SMES system will suffer thermal load by AC losses and thermal disturbance which may cause unstable for HTS magnets. In this paper, dynamic thermal response of a conduction-cooled HTS SMES system in power exchanging and local heat disturbance condition is simulated to make comparison on cooling effect for different cooling configuration. 3-D SMES models based on heat conduction equation are established and solved with finite element methods. The results show the relationship between the cooling configuration and the transient stability of SMES system.

Abstract: Because it is difficulty to collect field corrosion data,estimation of the remaining life of corroded tanks mostly adopts qualitative analysis. On the basis of the relationship curve of the corrosion depth and service time,according to the acquisition of corrosion data sample size,the paper used limited polyline to replace the corrosion curve,simplified the calculation of the remaining life of corroded tanks.

Abstract: The new design lubricating system of model 190 diesel engine were calculated and tested. Amount of oil which delivered by the rotor oil pump is 6.12 liters, oil pressure from oil pump is greater than 200kPa, it can fully meet the requirements of cooling cycle. The oil sump is designed to meet storage capacity requirements and the residence time requirements. The finalize test results of the diesel engine show that the lubricating system matched with the engine works well, the indicators of the power, economy, reliability achieve the design and the standard requirements.

Abstract: With the expansion of the hybrid electric technology, hybrid electric driving system is introduced from hybrid electric vehicle into construction machinery such as bulldozer. Therefore, the corresponding simulation models of hybrid electric bulldozers need to be developed firstly for further study of the new application. In this paper, through analyzing on the characteristics of crawler bulldozers, a whole vehicle module and a crawler module are created, then the relevant configuration files are modified, and finally the simulation model of series hybrid electric crawler bulldozer (SHECB) is built based on ADvanced VehIcle SimulatOR (ADVISOR).After loading an operational driving cycle of the bulldozer, a certain type of hybrid bulldozer being developed is simulated. The results show that the simulation model developed can simulate the performance of the SHECB favorably.

Abstract: The wheel-rail combined power spectrum densities are transformed into time domain samples by IFFT method, and add abnormal corrugation samples. The samples were taken as the inputting disturbances of a vehicle-track vertical coupling dynamics model, and the interaction force of wheel/rail is calculated by the models of vehicle with traditional bogie frame and articulated frame of vehicle/track coupling system. Dynamic responses of wheels on corrugation track can be calculated. The results show that wheels vibration intensity of vehicle with articulated bogie is lower.

Abstract: By the force analysis of alfalfa grass powder material layer in work area of circular mould pelletizing system, grass pellet briquetting mechanism when alfalfa grass powder pass work area was explained, function relationship between the thickness of material layer and the circular mould angle was established, force balance equation of material layer differentiation unit under the general conditions was deduced, and the total force of material layer applied by circular mould was obtained. Research result has practical meaning for guiding the process test of grass pellet product and optimizing product structure, and has a certain theoretical reference value for in-depth revealing granulating forming mechanism of hoop standard granulator.

Abstract: The CNG engine in this paper is developed based on a prototype diesel engine platform. In this paper by analyzing the combustion of the CNG engine under different compression ratio with the FIRE software, we could see that the model which compression ratio is 11 could meet the load needs and the economic needs. At the same time the heat load could meet the requirements of the prototype diesel engine.

Abstract: A properties database of working medium is developed based on the IAWPS-IF97 mathematical model to satisfy the demand of the accurate properties of full scope simulation of coal-fired power plant. The database provides the continuous relationship of the specific enthalpy, the density and the specific heat capacity as the function of the pressure and temperature. On this basis, a graphical user interface is designed to ensure the database can be used as a separate software kit. The error caused by regression algorithm can be avoided in the properties database. The properties database is suit for full scope simulation of coal-fired power plants and can also be used in the nuclear power plant. The results show that a single-step execution of matrix calculation of the properties database costs no more than 1ms CPU time in the Pentium IV 1.6GHz computer, fast enough for most real-time applications. Compared with the Chinese Standard, the mean relative error of the properties is less than 0.1% in full operation scope.
