Abstract: Actually, both simple construction and fast construction are advantages of RCC dams. In view of taking strict temperature control measures, those are turned to be disadvantages instead. The way of fast pouring and the measure of controlling the placing temperature are introduced to RCC dams and 6 cases are analyzed separately to explain the effect of their crack prevention. It is concluded that controlling only the last layer placing temperature of concrete lifts can remarkably decrease the stress of working plane concrete during off period. Furthermore, the pouring way of thick lifts and short off period do not deteriorate the temperature and stress but rather has an impressive effect on crack prevention and construction period contraction.

Abstract: This article studied the wire rope net bottom connection system by an experiment which was researching on four class and seven different kinds materials. Then we get the experiment results by using different anchoring materials as anchoring end and studying the wire rope bottom connection system of tensile bearing capacity. Through the experiment and data analysis, we can draw conclusions that: Application in general situations, we can use M8 stereotypes retractor, but need to expand the curvature of the top ring, while using smooth design scheme to reduce stress concentration. Used in critical situations, we had better use special M14 bolt anchor, which has a higher bearing capacity and security. The presented methods in this paper are feasible and practical.

Abstract: With the development of the society, peoples requirement for façade and image of the constructions in the city has changed. This thesis, taking the warm-housing project in Changchun for example, studies the color design and the choice and improvement of the materials used in architectures, and it also analyses the influence of the color design and the choice of architectural material on the whole city image and the importance of the design in architectures.

Abstract: t is discussed that using the method of composite hydrogeological investigation to survey the conditions of the zhong tiaoshan tunnels hydrogeological. On this basis, we use the groundwater dynamics to forecast the water gushed yield, and put forward two structure types of water preventing and draining, then verify the reasonableness by the construction practice. The conclusion has some significance for the design and construction of the similar tunnel projects water-proofing and drainage structure.

Abstract: In order to study the soil nail optimization of foundation pit and obtain the global optimal solution, this paper establishes the predictive model of response surface by combining uniform test design(UD) and the support vector machine(SVM) technology. In order to avoid the disadvantages of large amount of calculation and low efficiency in heuristic algorithm, and to gain the optimal model of the explicitly analytical function in gradient algorithm, based on the predictive model of response surface under the constraint conditions, the foundation pit soil nailing is optimized through the application of enumerative algorithm. Through an engineering example, it is showed that is a time-saving method and don't need explicitly analytical model. Meanwhile, it can obtain the global optimal solution.

Abstract: This paper introduced the relative merits and open questions of common methods of pile foundation static load test. And a revolutionizing foundation testing technology ,Statnamic has been introduced in the paper. The Satanamic load test has been developed to meet the construction industrys demand for an accurate and cost-effective method of determing the load bearing capacity of high capacity piles.

Abstract: This paper reports on part of an ongoing experimental program at The University of Adelaide on the seismic behavior of high-strength concrete (HSC)-filled fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) tubes (HSCFFTs). The results from three square concrete-filled FRP tube (CFFT) columns that were tested under combined constant axial compression and reversed-cyclic lateral loading are presented. The main parameters of the experimental study included the axial load level, concrete strength, and FRP tube corner radius. The results indicate that square HSCFFT columns are capable of developing very high inelastic deformation capacities under simulated seismic loading. The results also indicate that increasing the corner radius beyond a certain threshold value provides no increase in column lateral drift capacities. It was observed that column deformability decreased with an increase in axial load level (P/Po) and concrete compressive strength (fc). The results of the experimental program are presented together with a discussion on the influence of the main parameters on the seismic behavior of CFFT columns.
