Article Preview

Abstract:

Microblogging has emerged as a new medium for communication and offers an explicit mechanism of facilitating information diffusion. In this work, we construct two indicators which are activity of users and historical attention. By introducing the factor of the spread ability of the microblogs, we propose a novel user influence ranking algorithm (User Influence Rank). Compared through experiments with traditional algorithm, the proposed algorithm is effective.
