Abstract: In order to solve the security issue about network intrusion in IPv6 system, two modes of intrusion detection system based on IPv6 protocol analysis have been developed and designed. Based on these two modes, packet capture module, protocol analysis module, command parsing module and out-put processing module have been designed. The accuracy and efficiency of intrusion detection system based on IPv6 protocol analysis have been verified through the test focused on the key modules.

Abstract: This paper addresses the fault-tolerant mechanisms in Wireless mesh networks (WMNs), and designs a C++ based simulation platform to measure the performance of different fault-tolerant mechanisms. A comprehensive performance evaluation of network coding tree algorithm (NCT), 1+1 scheme and 1: N scheme in WMNs is conducted. Performance metrics, such as packet delivery ratio, resource redundancy degree, end-to-end delay, and useful throughput ratio, are investigated. The simulation results and performance analysis reveal that how wireless channel quality can influence the performance of WMNs and how different fault-tolerant mechanisms can be efficient and effective for latency-sensitive applications in WMNs. The results can also provide the enlightening insights for efficient design of fault-tolerant routing protocols for many-to-one traffic pattern in WMNs.

Abstract: Because the direction of a single antenna is limited, and for strengthening the direct radiant ability of the antenna, we will put the weaker direction antennas together in some way to constitute an antenna array system. The antenna array is also called the array antenna or a disperse antenna array. The antenna cell can be the symmetry center-fed dipole, the aperture antenna, the circle antenna or other forms of the antennas whose direction are limited. In practice, the antenna array is almost constituted of similar antenna cells. I have mainly completed the antenna array direction diagram in conditions of some kinds of parameters. And at last, I get the useful results for practice. This also provides theories basis for the analysis of smart antenna.

Abstract: This paper presents a queuing analysis method for automatic repeat request (ARQ) in network-coded cooperative transmission networks with dynamic radio link adaptation. An equivalent Nakagami-m channel model is derived for the network-coded cooperative system and a Finite State Markov Chain (FSMC) is modeled for conducting queuing analysis of packet transmission. Finally, the matrix geometry method is used to get the steady state probability distribution and delay statistics. Numerical results show that as the network coding method reduces the feedback delay, the corresponding total delay has a relatively decrease.

Abstract: With the rapid development of computer technology and wireless network communication technology, video encoding technology will be more and more widely applied in the limited resources of the wireless network. Due to the large amount of data of the video transmission , transmission quality of transmit video on the wireless network are varied with different compression parameters, network parameters and network conditions. Simulation results show that the transmission of video over wireless networks, must be based on the current network conditions, choosing the suitable GOP length and quantitative parameters to get the high image quality. In specific applications, network topology, network bandwidth, routing technology and transmission of packet segmentation scheme and other factors will affect the quality of service for video services.

Abstract: This paper analyzed the communication performance to implement video coding and transmission in the limited resources of wireless network. Meanwhile, the effect of GOP, quantification and loss probabilities to transmission quality in multimedia communication is discussed, and the correlation between those relevant parameters and transmission quality of multimedia video is analyzed by simulation. The simulation results show that the transmission quality of multimedia video in wireless network varies with the compression parameters, network parameters, and network conditions. Thus, video transmission over wireless network, it should consider the network conditions, as well as appropriate length of the GOP and quantification parameters for better reconstructed images.

Abstract: The coverage and localization are two key issues in wireless sensor network (WSN), and they are related with the sensing model of sensors. That is, the different sensing models will lead to the different coverage patterns and localization schemes. However, the environment has a significant influence on the sensing model of sensors in some applications. Thus, this paper will study this impact and propose a sensing model, according to which, the coverage and localization will be re-studied. Finally, the simulation results demonstrate the validity of this impact, the feasibility of the sensing model, and the superiority of coverage and localization.

Abstract: Demand response entails the control of the energy demand and loads during critical peak situations to achieve a balance between electrical energy supply and demand. A robust communication infrastructure, which consists of network components of Home Area Networks (HANs) and Neighborhood Area Networks (NANs) is the touchstone to achieve the demand response goals. This paper surveys existing communication technologies that can be adopted for demand response applications. A heterogeneous communication architecture based on Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) and Ethernet Passive Optical Networks (EPONs) is presented, and the reliability and scalability requirements of communication system is satisfied.

Abstract: Although mobile advertising seemingly offers practitioners tremendous potential given the ubiquitous nature of reaching subscribers anywhere, we know very little about it. Base on field experiment data, the developed zero-inflated Poisson model reveals that distance, promotion and product type could affect sales impact of advertising while using wireless telecommunication technology. When estimating the model, we use latent instrument variable (LIV) approach to rule out possible endogeneity problem. The empirical results indicate that distance, promotion, product type trigger sales respectively, while only promotion increases sales amount.

Abstract: The heightened interest towards mobile advertising had resulted in the great concern among academic and industry circle. The literature of mobile advertising is accumulating. However, the stream of research is still in the development stage. Base on field experiment data, the developed binary logit regression model finds that distance, promotion and personalization could affect impact of advertising while using wireless telecommunication technology. The empirical results indicate that distance, promotion, personalization increase mobile application installation rate respectively, while only promotion increases mobile application installation rate.
