3G and DDNS-Based Remote Monitoring and Management System for the Orchard Environment

Abstract:

In view of such characteristics as of the faraway and scattered orchard monitoring sites, complex environmental elements, great weather effect and difficult monitoring and management, it has studied the remote monitoring and management system for the orchard environment in which the 3G technology and DDNS dynamic domain name technology are used as the wireless communication network: That is to say, the 3G network is used in combination with the DDNS domain name technology to remotely transmit orchard meteorological environment factors such as the air humiture, soil humiture, rainfall and solar photosynthetic radiation perceived by the in-orchard sensors and the fruiter video images to the monitoring centers server and the ASP.NET and ADO.NET technologies to implement the real-time publication on the Internet of the orchard environmental data, so as to provide the users with the remote monitoring and management for the orchard environment.
