An Environmental Risk Zoning Method Based on Environmental Receptor Grading and Consequence Assessment

Article Preview

Abstract:

The methods in environmental risk zoning put more attention on analyzing the characteristics of environmental risk sources, while ignoring the vulnerability environmental receptor. In the work, a method based on environmental receptor grading and consequence assessment was developed for the environmental risk zoning. The method includes five steps and conducts in the (Geographic Information System) GIS platform. Finally, the method was applied in Pine Island Chemical Park, China as an illustration.
