Introduction of New Methods for Insulator Contaminant Detection

Article Preview

Abstract:

It is crucial to make insulator contaminant detection owing to that insulator can form pollution flashover when being exposed in outside operating conditions for long term, which can cause great damage. It can effectively prevent accident from happening when timely detecting the contamination on the surface of insulator. This paper provided detailed introduction of three new methods of insulator contaminant detection on the basis of the brief summary of traditional detection methods.
