Studies of Microwave Solvothermal Synthesis of the Nanocrystalline Copper and Lanthanum Selenide and its Structure

Article Preview

Abstract:

Microwave solvothermal technique was used to synthesize nanocrystalline . This method is employed with much excellence such as celerity, economy, good purity and small granularity. Several techniques including XRD, TEM, EDS and XPS were used to characterize its composition. The mechanism of the formation of nanocrystalline was discussed. UV-Vis indicates that this compound is preferable semiconductor with a band gap of 2.27 eV.
