The Properties of Wood-Plastics Composite (WPC) and its Application in Furniture

Abstract:

This paper deals with the wood-plastics composite (WPC) application in furniture. Firstly, it reviews WPC properties and its synthetic process; Secondly, it expounds the application of WPC in furniture in terms of design, manufacturing and joining mode; Finally, it summarizes limitations of WPC application in furniture in current condition and gives several suggestions on its further development.
