Research on the Maintainability Analysis and Design for Artillery Projectiles

Article Preview

Abstract:

Unlike any other ordnance, the maintainability of artillery projectiles is ignored from the design and production period to launching and exploding period. In this paper, the necessary feasibility of maintainability analysis and design for artillery projectiles are described thoroughly and demonstrated adequately. The disadvantage will be overcome thoroughly which is difficult to maintain for new projectiles, especially for costly projectiles, with applying the conception of maintainability of artillery projectiles to the course of argumentation, design, and production of artillery projectiles so as to improve the reliability of ammunition and strengthen the tactical efficiency of armed forces.
