Parameter Determination of Sphere Bearing about Bridge in High-Intensity Earthquake Area

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper, through introducing dynamic time-history analysis and the calculation by acceleration response spectrum theory as well as making a contrast between them, provides typical approaches and calculation examples of parameter determination in designing anti-seismic sphere bearing about bridge in high-intensity earthquake area. Quantitative analyses are made on the force of installing sphere bearing in high-intensity earthquake area. The deficiencies of employing sphere bearing in high-intensity earthquake area are introduced based on structural features as well as data and corresponding solutions are offered.
