Solving the Lower Reliability Confidence Limit of Binomial Distribution by Using Numeric Iteration Method

Article Preview

Abstract:

By using numeric iteration method, the algorithm of solving the lower reliability confidence limit of binomial distribution is realized with Matlab programming techniques. A method to choose the initial value is proposed, and the initial value problem which the equation solving is sensitive to is solved. This algorithm can solve the Lower Reliability Confidence Limit of Success or Failure mechanical products of any quantity, any number of failures, at any confidence level at will. The precision of the result is higher than the look-up standard-given data, and by the method, data which cant be found in standards in projects can be supplemented.
