The Analysis of Influential Factors of Geology Affecting Ultimate Recovery during Polymer Flooding Converted to Follow-Up Water Flooding

Article Preview

Abstract:

This paper focuses on the factors affecting the last stage during the polymer flooding the follow-up water drive. The purpose is to sustain the development production and the sweep improvement in oilfield. By applying the STARS module of CMG to establish an ideal model, apply Numerical simulation method to analyze the influence of geological factors on the recovery. The research results show that permeability max-min ratio and connectivity have greater impact on the ultimate recovery.
