Abstract: According to disposal situation of municipal solid waste (MSW) in China, the method of video capture was used to identify MSW, and classify the recyclable waste and non-recyclable waste. Verifying experiments were carried on by Plastic bottles in MWS. The results showed that, proposed method can identify MSW accurately.

Abstract: With the port cargo throughput increasing, the number of lifting transport equipment and working hours increased. Accompanied by the rapid increase of energy consumption, energy-saving research of lifting equipment is imminent. There have designed a new type of highly efficient energy-saving power generation scheme of quayside container crane. Use ADAMS to simulate the kinematics, and combined with MATLAB to optimize and determine the final control factor.

Abstract: Salinity is a major environmental constraint limiting crop growth and yield in worldwide. This paper compared the salt induced damages to Nipponbare rice at germination and seedling stages. All rice samples were treated with four levels of salinity, growth and physiological status were then measured. Dose-dependent changes in rice growth parameters and peroxidase activity were observed. The growth parameters including germination percentages, germination indexes, root numbers, root lengths, shoot lengths and fresh weights decreased significantly at germination and early seedling stages when treated with NaCl greater than 100 mM. However, 100 mM NaCl was not enough to bring significant change of enzyme activity between the salt treated and untreated rice at late seedling stage, this suggests that rice at late seedling stage has stronger self-adjustment ability and more resistant to salt toxicity than that at early seedling stage. More serious inhibition of roots growth was also observed than that of shoots under salt stresses. This work is helpful for the development of protection strategy for rice production in saline areas.

Abstract: Abstract. Green travel has rich connotation, which refers to all kinds of ways that can save energy, reduce pollution, do good to heath and improve efficiency. At the same time, green travel can reduce the citizens’ demand for urban roads, parking facilities, reduce the construction and maintenance costs, reduce the transportation and fuel consumption directly, and reduce the operating costs of the whole city. In addition, green travel can also reduce the use of the car that can reduce air pollution, and help to create livable urban environment. Therefore, the research of green travel mode choice is of great value.The transport industry must foster the mind of sustainable development, and must take account of environmental protection.

Abstract: By the tracers of dissolved conservative substance, establishing the convection diffusion numerical model of water exchange in the bay. The water exchange simulation results derive the half-exchange period of each region.And based on the hydrological data,model results show the tidal current field and the half-exchange period,analyzing the water exchange properties and the convective transport of pollutants to the Pulandian Bay.The numerical simulation results provide the scientific basis and basic data for the sea area construction and environmental protection.

Abstract: Designs a scientific questionnaire surveys according to the particularity of persons evacuation in metro, and sends them to passengers at random in metro. After thorough analysis and careful statistic of the questionnaire surveys data, obtains several regulations, such as the passengers personal parameters, present situation of the passengers safety consciousness, present situation of the passengers safety knowledge and passengers first reaction to fire etc. These data not only enriched the evacuation database of psychological and behavioral responses, but also provided more accurate and more effective supports for fireproofing design. At the same time, these conclusions also are good for the fire prevention and environment protection.

Abstract: The forecast of natural gas load is a comprehensive and difficult job. In this paper, the gas load forecasting with analysis of environmental resources based on gray model is discussed. The load data of some city from 2002 to 2011 is considered. The different experiments are finished to validate the method. From the experiments, it can be conclude that the gray forecasting model is suitable to short term forecasting. In addition, it can also be found that the oldest data has little influence on the future forecasting data.

Abstract: In order to study the effect of high temperature working environment on the vitamin C excretion of steel workers and the levels in vivo, we survey and analyze vitamin C in sweat and urine from the 226 heat-exposed workers and 39 non-heat-exposed workers at the same workshop. The results of the survey show that sweating is the main way for the excretion of vitamin C under the high temperature environment, and this is also one of the main reasons for the in vivo levels of vitamin C declining. Consequently, some necessary measures should be taken to avoid damage caused by heat-exposed operation and ensure the workers enjoy good health.

Abstract: "Particulate matter," or PM, is a complex mixture of extremely small particles and liquid droplets. PM is usually divided into PM10 and PM2.5. Once inhaled, these particles can affect the heart and lungs and cause serious health effects. PM2.5 causes the greatest health problems, and reduces the visibility (haze). Beijing is the capital of the Peoples’ Republic of China. The PM pollution in Beijing not only poses huge economic, environmental and healthy loses, but also impacts on the China government’s credibility and international image. The paper analyzed the characteristics of PM pollution and put up with some suggestions in order to provide some theoretical guidance for the government implementing environmental protection policy and pollution control measures. The paper indicates that the average mass concentration of PM in Beijing varies with time; PM emissions have increased in recent years; PM2.5 and PM10 are the primary air pollutants in Beijing; and finally the government should take effective measures to control particle pollution to realize the people’s hope that the sky becomes blue again.

Abstract: The building is one of the most common forms of space in our life, has a great influence on our life. China facing a very grim energy situation, building energy efficiency has great impetus to economic development. This paper analyzes the ways to achieve the construction of energy-efficient and proposes to reduce the total energy demand and utilization of new energy sources. In the construction of energy-saving technology, the construction of energy-efficient windows and doors and roof insulation wall are analyzed and puts forward some relevant suggestions.
