Abstract:

During the rapid urbanization of Chinese cities, great pressure is put on the work of historic city conservation by economic development. How to achieve balance between development and conservation is a problem that must be solved urgently for urban construction. This paper explores urban form conservation strategies and approaches adapting to economic sustainable development through an overall urban design project.
