Abstract: In a multistage machining process, due to the variation accumulation and interaction between different machining stages, variation analysis and diagnosis for quality-related problems become complicated. In this paper, a fault analysis and prediction method is proposed for connecting engineering design with the activities of process variation sources modeling, dimensional variation analysis, and statistical estimate of variations source. Furthermore, a hypothesis testing method is introduced to determine whether each of potential process faults exists in terms of the statistical significance. At last, an experimental study is provided to illustrate the validity and the significance of the proposed methodology.

Abstract: Flue gas recycling system is an effective way of saving energy and improving efficiency for coal-fired power plant. In this paper, the general low-temperature economizer, heat pipe type low temperature economizer, composite phase change heat recovery system are introduced. Combined with a 600MW unit parameters, the economies of various waste heat recovery system are compared.

Abstract: The screw edge width is usually selected based on experience when designing screw extruders, and it is difficult to get the best extrusion quality. The extrusion process of screw extruder is a process of multi-phase flow, which includes gas, liquid and solid. Making it simplified to single-phase flow process can cause relatively large error. This paper adopts the method of multi-phase flow to simulate the extrusion process of single-screw extruder based on different screw edge width by using the finite element analysis software, and get the conclusion that increasing the screw edge width appropriately under the condition that the production efficiency is acceptable is helpful to improve the extrusion quality of single-screw extruders.

Abstract: The complex network model of the manufacturing grid was built based on complex network theory. Based on the model, the degree and its distribution, the mode dole, the average path length and clustering coefficient were studied. Taking an actual manufacturing task as example, the manufacturing resource node selection was performed integrated with the classical intelligent algorithm and the node selection performance is promoted. The research results are help to enhance the global optimization selection ability on the manufacturing resource node.

Abstract: This paper introduced a leveling tanks system of the ship based on Visual C++. The simulation system is consisted of a leveling tank, a leveling system controller and a ship motion simulator three parts. This paper focuses on the system leveling effect, when the roll is generated by steering as well as loading and wave interference under conditions of direct of the ship. In the research of the ship rolling, which is generated by steering, tanks model combining of traditional four degrees of freedom, getting a new four degrees of freedom "Ship-Tank" movement mathematical model. We calculate the motion state of the ship, and output multiple parameter information of ship motion based on the mathematical model, and then level the roll motion generated by ship steering using control strategies. Simulation results show that, in the conditions of both direct and steering, the system is able to achieve the desired effect of leveling, and thereby it provides reliable basics for designing and researching of leveling tanks.

Abstract: This paper has researched strip width model in hot strip rolling. Analyzed physical phenomena influencing strip width, established calculation model in production including width spread during flat rolling, width change induced by bending, width changed by high temperature creep and thermal expansion and contraction during rolling. Practical applications in domestic 1500 hot strip mill show that the width model achieved good effect and enhanced the calculation precision.
