Research on the Value Orientation of Supply Chain Partners' Adverse Selection

Abstract:

In order to enhance the competitiveness of the supply chain, the core enterprise in the supply chain usually associates with more disadvantaged enterprises, so the core enterprise need evaluate and select its partners; At the same time, the partners, the disadvantaged enterprises, also need make the adverse selection with obvious value orientation. So the research on the intention of adverse selection value of supply chain partner has important realistic significance. This paper conducted a questionnaire survey of 300 manufactures in Ma’anshan, participation of which would be analyzed by logistic regression. we make an empirical analysis from the manufacturers of Ma’anshan, and the results show the disadvantaged enterprises are more willing to join the supply chain alliance, which can bring to them such as expected benefits, opportunities for development, and pre-pleasant cooperation extent etc., which are important factors affecting their decisions. Some suggestions, such as the policy support, strengthening the information management of supply chain,are put forward to promote the willing of enterprise participation.
