Abstract: We forecast wind power in a way combining wavelet neutral network and rolling forecast. At the same time, we build a system of forecast deviation. Then we use some data to test our model, which yields a desirable result. In addition, we are informed that our method can predict wind power correctly in a long time and short sampling interval can lead to a better result than long sampling interval.

Abstract: The Matching Pursuit algorithm (MP) utilizes an iterative procedure to project a given waveform onto a particular dictionary, and uses a greedy strategy to optimize the signal approximation at each step. The computation complexity of MP is very high. In this paper we propose an improved decomposition algorithm based on MP and Quantum Genetic Algorithm (QGA), which is called Quantum Genetic Matching Pursuit (QGMP). The improved algorithm can not only get the best matching atom, but also greatly reduce the computation complexity of MP and, therefore, makes the MP can be used in practical system.

Abstract: In order to detect the Frequency-Hopping signal in the condition of non-cooperation and overcome the bottleneck of huge data processing, a blind detection method using numeral characteristics of compressive samplings is proposed. First the different numeral characteristic of compressive sampling under different hypothesis is analyzed, and then this characteristic is used to detect the presence of Frequency-Hopping signal in white noise environment. Simulation results show that this algorithm can effectively detect the Frequency-Hopping signal when is higher than 8dB. This algorithm is lower in computation complexity, and can be an inspiration of real-time sparse signal processing.

Abstract: Different problems of robot learning and planning have received considerable attention, recently. In particular, we can mention robot task learning. Robot learning from demonstration is especially important for robots that operate in unstructured environments. The effectiveness of such learning depends strongly on the quality of vision-based analysis of human hand and body gestures. In this paper, we consider a method of recognition of human hand and body gestures that based on a modified longest common subsequence algorithm with adaptive parameters.

Abstract: This paper presents a single wheel model which can make the car to maintain linear motion during braking based on elaborating control mechanism of Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). PID control and fuzzy PID control were used to control the single wheel model. According to the properties of PID control and fuzzy PID control to establish brake model of automobile straight-line-braking by using Matlab software and Simulink module. The results show that fuzzy PID controller presents a better effect and has a better adaptability.

Abstract: This paper mainly addresses a novel control law with rigidity matrix based on three co-leaders minimally persistent formations in the plane. This control law particularly considers the fault tolerance of the leaders, and in this way, the three co-leaders model is better than leader-first follower model, leader-remote follower model, etc. in persistent formation. Firstly, the first order kinematic model is adopted for every agent. Then the fundamental moving principal of the leaders and the followers are described in detail. On the basis of these principals, the control law with the rigidity matrix for the whole formation is proposed. Moreover, the stability analysis is also supplied. Finally, simulations show that the proposed controllers ensure the group formation stabilized to maintain the rigid shape, while the distances between the agents remain unchanged.

Abstract: This paper give a new method that the virtual experimental platform of automatic control principle is built by using relevant modules based on the software of MATLAB/Simscape. Taking the analysis of unit step response and characteristic curves drawing of frequency response of second-order system for example, the design course of virtual experimental platform and the using method are illuminated in details. Furthermore, the accuracy of the running result from the platform is analyzed by using automatic control principle. The results show that the simulation experiment process at the virtual experiment platform is the same as actual process. It can improve the experiment efficiency and solve the problem of high cost and low efficiency while doing an experiment at the actual experiment platform.

Abstract: Power plant steam temperature control has characteristics of long delay and great inertia, a new method is proposed by analyzing above-mentioned problems and existing control methods on this paper. The method consists of an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm and a fuzzy immune PID controller. In addition, simulation results of PID, traditional fuzzy immune PID and fuzzy immune PID based on PSO are presented and compared. Fuzzy immune PID Control based on PSO has advantages of short adjustment time, quicker response time, better anti-interference ability and more stability. It can reduce the fluctuation of power plant steam temperature, and has better control performance and practical value.

Abstract: Conventional PID control system of Direct Current (DC) servo motor is only suitable for the system which Mathematical models can be precisely expressed [1] And it can’t meet the demand of the nonlinear and time-varying system. In the paper, a control system based on fussy-PID is proposed. The basic algorithm of the fussy-PID is introduced firstly. And then the design of the fussy-PID control system is introduced. The results of the experiments have shown that the fussy-PID control system improved the performance of the DC servo motor..

Abstract: This study interest flow control using a new vortex generators (VGs) shape with counter-rotating vortices, obtained by adding a new element to a configuration mostly investigated. The experiments were performed in the aim to determine the VGs answer when placed on the suction face at 10% from the leading edge of an airfoil Naca 0015 in order to improve the lift and drag coefficients. The investigations were accomplished in wind tunnel for two Reynolds numbers and geometrical vortex generators configurations. The obtained results are analyzed according to several parameters such as the VG height, the space between the same VG pair and the additional factor. The results show a profit brought by the passive devices estimated at about 28% of the CL/Cd ratio.
