Study on Regional Environment Social Economic System near Hangzhou Bay in China - The Case of the Jiaxing City

Abstract:

Water shortage due to deterioration of water quality is quite serious near Hangzhou Bay. Jiaxing city is near the Shanghai and Hangzhou city, located at Zhejiang province in the South China, which belongs to the typical area of network of rivers in the Taihu watershed. The research provides a primary consideration of methodology to comprehensively evaluate regional environment social economic system, focuses on regional environment social economic system of Jiaxing city, including its location and transportation status, and summary to improve the water environment for the future generations are given.
