Abstract: In the article the flow field in the twin-tangential annular flow gas distributor was simulated based on the standard k-ε turbulent model with FLUENT software according to various distance L between sleeve and column wall and differing numbers of baffles, after comprehensively analyzing, got the best technological parameters with misdistribution factor and pressure drop. Based on the analysis of the flow field discipline of the twin-tangential annular flow gas distributor and the two-line vane gas distributor, and the systematic comparison of the performance of these two kinds of gas distributors in the flue gas CO2 absorption column, the research will provide the important theoretical foundation for the choosing and designing of the distributor of the flue gas CO2 absorber.

Abstract: From the systemic methodology for evaluating the multi-target system of Building Energy Efficient (BEE) engineering, this paper presents the social objectives, technical objectives, economic objectives, management and ecological objectives. BEE multi-target system evaluation is a comprehensive project appraisal. Based on the main body of generalization and conflict of the multi-target system, the BEE systems’ general objectives with engineering management, engineering technology, engineering economy, engineering social and ecological goals are analyzed, and BEE engineering system internal correlations properties are studied from time, space and energy dimension. Taking basic goals of BEE engineering as example, to evaluate the multi-target system is especially important to systemic analysis of the BEE engineering practice.

Abstract: In recent years, China economy has been developing in a high speed, but along with the development, there are some environmental problems such as environmental degradation etc. To solve the environmental problems, we can’t only depend on the government policy, or the enterprises’ production of green products. What is more important is to promote green consumption behavior of consumers. This paper tries to explore the mechanism of individual green consumption behavior based on the theory of value-belief-norm, aiming to build the research framework for individual green consumption, which will be significant to the further research of the individual green consumption behavior and the promotion of green product.

Abstract: Low nitrogen removal efficiency caused by the lack of carbon source in low C/N ratio wastewater restricts the wastewater biological treatment. Advances in wastewater biological treatment at low C/N ratio are reviewed in the paper from three aspects, including modifying traditional biological nitrogen removal process, developing novel biological nitrogen removal processes and optimizing traditional carbon source and developing new types of carbon sources. The mechanisms, advantages, and applications of these processes are also summarized and analyzed.

Abstract: This study investigates and analysis the carbon dioxide emissions focus on student’s campus activities in the Tajen University during the school year. Survey queries includes commute distance, using means of transport, means of transport emissions, food consumption survey, the amount of waste, recycling and electricity consumption. The collected information was integrated into the carbon footprint calculation. This study investigated a total of 70 college students with 60 valid questionnaires in 85.7% recovery rate. Using descriptive statistics analysis quantitatively describing the students’ basic attributes and utilize analysis of variance to analyze the differences between students’ differences and their associated on carbon dioxide emissions. In this study, the result showed Tajen University students’ carbon footprint averaged 2.31±0.37 kg/person-day. Carbon footprint analysis results indicate that student age, grade, and gender difference between latent variables have different scenarios on carbon footprint model, such as, different genders no significant difference by measuring the carbon footprint, but of different ages and grade under test carbon footprint had a significant difference.

Abstract: The On-load Capacity Regulating Transformer is a kind of distribution transformer which has two rated capacity. It can realize the automatic regulation of its capacity according to the operation process with load and can reduce power losses effectively. After introduce the principle of it, the Selection criteria and Energy saving calculation method are determined to its application. The results prove its correctness and validity.

Abstract: There are various signs indicating that the Earth's natural environment is changing toward unfavorable direction for species, which is highly suspected to be connected with human activities. In the last century, people all over the world have realized the severity of environmental issues. In the long history, Chinese ancient had already development good rules and methods to reach balance between economic development and environment sustainability. This paper will discuss how environmental concepts forms and which methods could be applied in the future.

Abstract: To cope with the challenges of climate change, Chinese transportation industry has been working to promote green transportation development. Brazil and China are both developing countries and also the "BRIC Countries". Considering their energy strategies and energy advantages, Brazil and China have made beneficial attempts in transport energy-saving emission reduction and achieved success. The experience of Brazil transportation energy conservation and emission reduction will provide positive and beneficial reference for promoting green recycling and low carbon transport construction in China.

Abstract: This study is conducted with the objective of analyzing the correlation among the gender, age, income, consumption, profession of Urumqi public and their environmental awareness , environmental behavior. This questionnaire is administered to 370 respondents who are evenly distributed among all areas, ages and stratums of Urumqi. The study shows that there are differences among gender, age, income, consumption , profession in the area of public environmental behavior and income disparities in the area of public environmental awareness. To effectively improve public environmental awareness and behavior , the government should targetly strengthen the guide of environmental behavior of different gender, age, income, consumer, profession groups, provide environmentally friendly products with appropriate subsidy, promote the level of public self-development, improve the scope and frequency of environmental activities , enhance the propaganda of environmental knowledge and the spread of environment education .
