Production Logistics Simulation System for a Rail-Beam Plant Based on Component Technology

Article Preview

Abstract:

The reusability and flexibility are essential aspects of logistics simulation for a big rail-beam plant with great demands of highway train projects in China recently. Currently, there is no sufficient facility or clear opinions provided by research work to address this. This paper presents an approach to meet rail-beam plant’s simulation requirements flexibly based on the component technology. A prototype system of a real-beam plant for bullet train in China is also developed to illustrate the feasibility and applicability.
