Article Preview

Abstract:

Core competence can keep the business competitive and growing well. Based on former research on core competence, the paper formulates core competence evaluation index from technological innovation, marketing, organization and management, and corporate culture; it judges whether the evaluation index is appropriate, and calculates the weight of the index by matrix. The paper makes fuzzy comprehensive evaluation with MATLAB through survey on the motor manufacturer and membership function of the core competence index. The paper is useful for its research on fuzzy comprehensive evaluation on the core competence, so that the small-and-medium-sized motor manufacturers know how to build core competence.
