Abstract: Complex equipment is mainly used in important areas of national defense, health care, banking, etc. Consequences of failure are relatively severe, while the hidden failures are contained in the most complex devices as the process is running. Hidden failures in the normal operation of the device is difficult to find, and only under certain conditions will be triggered, while other faults may be led. The stability of the running system will be undermined. In order to monitor the occurrence and development of hidden failure of complex equipment, a hidden failure warning model based on data mining has been put forward, and the theory of the model has been analyzed, the selection gist of the model parameters has been given. The result shows that the accuracy of hidden failure impact value forecast by the model is 93.33%, the impact degree of the hidden failure effect on the dominant failure can be effectively monitored, and the model makes a good preventative effect against the sudden failure caused by the hidden failure.

Abstract: Information management systems become more common and more important in all walks of life. Many serious problems such as multi-source information heterogeneity, mass redundant data, and data security occur in the systems as the explosive increment of data. A novel redundant data deleting algorithm based on the cloud storage platform was proposed in this paper to deal with the problem of mess data storing. Storage space division algorithm and different users were divided in an appropriate way to improve the efficiency of reading and writing. A typical information management system was used to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the algorithms proposed in this paper.

Abstract: With the development of computer and Internet technology, enterprises need scientific and effective management of the available information resources to make full use of them. Traditionally, paper is used as the medium. However, information on paper is hard to edit, store, and check. Moreover, this way has a higher requirement for employees. This study adopts B/S architecture to build an information management system, which contains complete NC machine tools as well as components. The system uses a framework as the development platform, and uses SQL Server 2005 as the database. This application can fit most browsers.

Abstract: Based on Windows operating system, the software of NC machine’s On-line inspection has been developed, the key technology in software development: Set up the comprehensive error model of the inspection system, probe error treatment technology, communication etc. Utilize this software to turn into the procedure of measuring automatically, and can compensate to probe error, the geometric error and thermal error of the machine, have improved the precision and efficiency.

Abstract: This paper established the model base, knowledge base, application base and test base for the cold extrusion process of internal thread and developed decision support system which realized the centralized management of related information for cold extrusion process of internal thread, maintained the consistency of data in real time and enforced the degree of information sharing. By using of the decision support system, expert system, intelligent inference technology and depending on the application requirements of the system, the overall structure of the decision support system for cold extrusion process of internal thread was established based on J2EE technology. Two accessorial decision-making methods of hybrid forecasting and application modification facilitated modeling the system business. Three-dimensional frame structure was used to represent the application example of the internal thread by cold extrusion process and to achieve the application type, information scalability of internal thread by cold extrusion process. Hybrid fast predicting mechanism which was the dynamic integration of internal thread by cold extrusion process knowledge and instance inference was applied to seek the optimal degree of internal thread by cold extrusion process.

Abstract: Aiming at the management issue of mass sensory data from the manufacturing resources in cloud manufacturing, a management method for mass sensory data based on Hadoop is proposed. Firstly, characteristics of sensory data in cloud manufacturing are analyzed, meanings and advantages of Internet of Things and cloud computing are elaborated. Then the structure of the cloud manufacturing service platform is proposed based on Hadoop, the information model of manufacturing resources in cloud manufacturing is defined, and the data cloud in the cloud manufacturing service platform is designed. The distributed storage of mass sensory data is implemented and a universal distributed computing model of mass sensory data is established based on the characteristics of Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS).

Abstract: The enterprises when the designer worked with CATIA. In order to improve the efficiency, the research took the shaft parts as the research object to realize the secondary development of CATIA V5R18. The development platform of Shafting parts was set up through the embedded component development environment of CATIA CAA RADE and CAA API and was based on the development platform of VC++. At the end, this paper took the typical parts as examples to introduce the method of system operation. The test results show that this system could realize the rapid design and enhance the design efficiency, and it could provide the experience for the deeper development of CATIA.

Abstract: Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is an effective methodology that aims to maximize shareholder value by improving quality, efficiency, customer satisfaction and costs. Continuous integration is the software engineering practice of rapid and automated development and testing. A case study presented in this paper demonstrates how LSS tools help software R&D teams to improve product quality and reduce development cost. The define, measure, analyze, improve and control (DMAIC) methodology is applied to develop an action plan to achieve continuous integration at an anonymous software R&D organization's LSS Green Belt project. The LSS implementation has had a significant impact on the financial performance of the organization. It is showed that the package continuous integration (PCI) success ratio (3 months average) increased from 27% to 74%, meanwhile an operational saving of approximately 56.87K Euro was reported from this project. Finally, some key success factors that are critical to the implementation of an effective Green Belt program are examined, and managerial implications are provided.

Abstract: Development of 3D printing technology brings revolutionary changes to the future of manufacturing. Based on the development of 3D printing technology and application prospects, this paper analyzes the positive effect of 3D printing technology on industrial design process, industrial design concepts and also some negative issues in the development process, such as intellectual property rights arising. What’s more, it discusses the advent of 3D printing technology which is the catalyst of future industrial design development cycle, the generation of "design of the package" model and the development of industrial design from standardization to individuation.

Abstract: With the rapid development of experience economy, manufacturing should provide products and services which can satisfy the users. The product design evaluation methods and the relationships with PLM were studied. The research actuality and deficiency of product user experience were analyzed. To solve the problems which product design evaluation cannot be implemented throughout the whole product life cycle and user experience cannot guide design evaluation, product development process was divided into four stages based on the product lifecycle management. The design evaluation requirements for every stage were researched, the evaluation contents were analyzed with user experience methods, and the evaluation targets and missions were summarized. So the model of PLM-oriented product design evaluation system based on user experience was established. It proposed the direction of future research, and wished to guide the development of PLM-oriented product design.
