Organo-Mineral Additive Based on Mixed Clays

Article Preview

Abstract:

The possibility of receiving the organo-mineral additive based on polymineral high-montmorillonite clays is considered. It is offered to use nonionic surface-active agents as an organic component. The organo-mineral additive is offered to be used in paints and dry building mortars (DBM) compositionas the structuring, thixotropic and dispersing additive. The DBM composition has been developed, including lime, glass sand, modifying additives and organo-mineral additive. It is shown, that including organo-mineral additive allows to increase coating offset resistance.
